Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Frank Tonsetic,"be appointed as an
assistant dairyman replacing Steve Boyan, at the Washington County Rom and Hospital for Men; thin
action to be effective July 9, 1962.

Board of County Commissioners met in regular session these present being: Commis-
sioners Cummins and Mazza. Also present being: Tax Claim Bureau Solicitor Hornell, Chief CAerk
Stuart. Reporters Crouse and Merdian.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the or#ginal minute passed on March
16, 1%2 numbered "238" be recinded and the following resolution adopted:
RESOWTION OF THE COUI!iTY OF WASHING70N
WHEREAS. in accordance with the provisions of the County Code, Act of August 9, 1955. P.L. 323
the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Washington, in cooperation with the Boards of
County Commissioners of the counties of Allegheny. Armstrong, Beaver, Butler and Westmoreland,
desire (a) to create a regional planning commission for the region of the aforementioned counties
to be known as the SOUTHWESTERN PENNSYLVANIA REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION; (b) to approve the
Articles of Agreement; (c) to appoint certain persons as Members of said Planning Commission;
and (d) to make an appropriation to said Planning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Washington County as
follows:
1. That the County of Washington does hereby authorize the creation of a regional plan-
aing commission to be known as SOUTHWESTERN PENNSYLVANIA REGIONAL PLANNING CONISSION; and
2. The attached Articles of Agreement concerning said Planning Commission be and the
same are hereby approved and the sane shall govern and{control-the operations of said Planning
Commission, and the execution of the said Articles of Agreement by the County Commissioners is
hereby authorized; and
3. That the following persons be and they are hereby appointed to serve as members
representing the County of Washington in said Planning Commission for the following terns:

9. There is hereby appropriated to the said Planning Commission the sun of $5,595.00
for the year 1962, payable on or before December 15. 1962.
