Potion by Mr. YAzza, seconded by Mr, Cummrl.ns, that the Commissioners send a letter to
Brig. General, Retired, Raymond E. Goodridge, indicating that they are in favor of a transfer
and/or deeding of the present Amery located at West Maiden Street, Washington., Pennsylvanian
to the City of Washington, when vacated by the military.
Motion carried.
Notion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Cundns,, that the meeting be adjourned.

Board of County Commissioners met in special session (11:00 a.m.) for 'the purpose
of opening bids for the furnishing of coal for the 196&1963 season for the heating of the
Courthouse and County Jail Building, Washington, Pennsylvania; also for the Washington County`
Home and Hospital for Men and the Home for Aged Women, B.D. 1, Washington, Pennsylvania. Those
present kt this meeting being: Commissioners Cummins, Mazza and Controller Elfish. Following
bidders also present: Mr. Wiley and Mr, Wilsons' Tax Claim Bureau`Solicitar Hvrmell and Reporter
Crouse.
In accordance idth the aforemention advertisement, the following bids were opened and

temporary helper at the Washington County Home for Aged Women replacing Margaret Sawchuek, this i
action to be effective August 15, 1962.

being transferred to the Courthouse, this action to be effective August 28, 1962.
