Remarks
Mr. Cummins: This is a distressed area and the award of the bid should help an area
where additional employment is needed# Also, there Will be a savings of approximately $2000.00
more or less, in a year's consumption of coal. These considerations have led us to feel that
despite the recommendation of the Engineer's Office, the taxpayers of the County and County Goverm.
ment will be better served by awarding the bid to the lowest responsible bidder.
