present: Commissioners Pettit and Cvwd3W# Also present beings County Solicitor hassock, Tax
Claim Bureau Solicitor Hornell, Reporters Crouse and Msardian.
Notion by Mr. Cwmdwj, secianded by Mr. Pettit, that during the summer months of dune,
July, and August regular meetings of the Board of County,Commissioners will be held once a week
on Fridays. This schedule to go into effect June 1, 1962.
Mr. Pettit: "The minority commissioner, Mr. Mazssa, is also in accordance with this motion elthougb
he is not present at this time."
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Cumdm,, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the following resolution concerning
the purchase of maps by the ngton County Planning Condssaion, the Redevelopment Authority of
the County of Washington and the Washington County Industrial Development Agency and consultants
+ under contract to these agencies, be adopted:
RESOLUTION
RWMV1D, that tax amps and other maps or materials reproduced by the Washington Count r
Engineering Department that are used in County programs or used by the consultants working for
these agencies on projects ,in Washington County;
RMLVED, that as'these materials are used in County programs and by consultants under
contract to these agencies, - specify that these a astsaps will: -be provided at cost;
NOW, Lns+aws .412, BE IT ISSOLVID, m>sps ordered through The County office, either for
direct use by the County ageAcies or consultants working for the agency, will be provided at re-
production cost.
Notion carried.
Motion by Mir. C s seconded by Mr. Pettit, that-, *,q , notion gassed on Friday, May
18, 1962, granting permission to give copies of maps of.the Claysville and ,Amity Quadrangles with-
out charge to the Department of Internal Affairs, be reminded and the following adopteda
That the Department of Internal. Affairs and any other State agency or my other agency
be advised that there will be a charge made for all maps where their agency charges for maps, and
that if their agency supplies maps to the County free of charge, then the County will reciprocaate.
Only when the County receives maps free of charge from an agency can the County then give maps free
of charge to that agency. -
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Cwmdm,, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the Courthouse be closed on Nay
303, 1962, in observance of Memorial Day.
Motion carried u 4 usly.
Motion by Mr. Chains, seconded by Agar. Pettit, that the meeting be adjourned.
