BLATCH CUMMINS, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS received by the County Controller in his Office at the Courthouse, Washington, Pennsylvania, until 11s00 a.m., Eastern Standard Time, Friday, February 15, 1963s and opened immediately thereafter in the Office of the County Commissioners. - ' Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the meeting be adjourned. Motion carried unanimously. Meeting reconvened at the call of the Chair. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the County Controller be auth- orized to advertise for bids for the leafing of six (6) automobiles, Fords, Chevrolets, Plymouths, or equivalent. Bids to be received by the County Controller at his Office in the Courthouse, on or before the lot of February, 1963, and opened in the Office of the County Commissioners on February 1, 1963, at lisOO a.m., (Cars to be used by the District Attorney's and Sheriff's Offices.) Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Cwtmdns, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the meeting be adjourned. Motion carried unanimously. THE FOREGOING MINUTE RM AND APPROVM: 1963 ATTEST: CHIEF CL i NO. 315 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., January 25, 1963 i Board of County Commissioners met in regular session those present beings Comm- issioners Pettit,, Cummins, County Solicitor Hormell, Reporter Crouse and Citizen Charles E. Bradshaw. Absent being Commissioner Mazza who is in Harrisburg. 1 Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Mrs. Russell Stone of R. D. 2, Charleroi, Pennsylvania, be appointed as a member on the Child Welfare Advisory Board. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the following resolution giving the County Commissioners the right to borrow One million four hundred thousand ($1,400,000.00) dollars over the year and up to August 1, 19633, be adopted. RESOLUTION RESOLVED, That, the funds of the County being exhausted, the County borrow from Pittsburgh National Bank, at any time and from time to time prior to August 1, 1963, an amount or amounts not exceeding in the aggregate One million four hundred thousand ($l,400,000.00) dollars in anticipation of taxes to be collected for the current fiscal year, the loan(s) to be I evidenced by the certificate(s) of indebtedness of the County in form acceptable to the bank, payable on or before December 31 1963, with interest from the date(s) thereof at the rate of E two and one-fourth per centum (2) per annum payable at quarter -annual intervals, said loans and interest to be repaid from the first monies available from taxes in anticipation of which such temporary loans and interest were made, which taxes are hereby appropriated for that purpose, { and that the Budget of the County for the current fiscal year and the taxes levied shall include i and be sufficient to repay said loan(s), and that any two (2) of the Commissioners be and they hereby are authorized to execute and deliver in the name of the County Commissioners and the County the certificate(s) of indebtedness which shall constitute the general obligations of the i County, and that the Chief Clerk of the County ConAi.ssioners be, and he hereby is, authorized ! and directed to attest such certificate(s) of indebtedness and affix the County Seal thereto,
