FRANCIS E. PETTIT, J. SLATCH CUMMINS, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS
and further that the execution and delivery of a certificate of indebtedness so executed and attested shall
be sufficient evidence of the necessity for the borrowing thereby represented at the time thereof,
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the undersigned has hereunto set his hand and affixed the
Seal of the County this 25th day of January, 1963.
Motion c ried.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr, Pettit, that the County borrow the sum
of $700,000,00 under authority of the resolution passed this date, January 25, 1963, of which the
sum of previous indebtedness of $400,000.00 will be repaid.
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Paul Metris be granted a
leave of absence from his present duties as Watchman at the Creosote Plant; this action to be
effective February 1, 1963.
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion carried.

Board of County Commissioners met in special session those present beings
Commissioners Pettit, Cummins and Mazza.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that C. 0. Williams, be appointed
is Assistant Director at what was formerly known as the Washington County Institution District;
this action to be effective January 16, 1963, Mr. Williams is filling the vacancy created by
the death of John T. Fetcko.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Valentine Liberatore be
appointed as an Investigator replacing John Makel at what was formerly known as the Washington
County Institution District; this action to be effective January 16, 1963.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that John Makel be appointed as
Special Investigator replacing Steve Sepesy at what was formerly known as the Washington County
Institution District; this action to be effective January 16, 1963.
Motion carried unanimously,
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Frances Dolence be appointed
as a Nurse's Aide replacing Jane Moulden at the Washington County Home and Hospital for Men; thi�
