Washington, Pa., February 31, 1963
Board of County Commissioners met in special session with the following members
being presents Commissioners Pettit and Cummins. Also present being Controller Elish.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the County Controller be
authorized to re -invest the amount of $82,451.20 of the Washington County General Fund Funding
and Improvement Bond Fund for the purpose of purchasing go -Day Treasury Certificates at 2.94
yield. Also, to re -invest the amount of $45,430.51 of the Washington County Institution Fund
Funding and Improvement Bond Fund to purchase 90-Day Treasury Certificates at 2.94 yield.
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the meeting be adjourned.

Board of County Commissioners met in special session with the following members
being presents Commissioners Pettit and Mazza.
Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that John C. Clark, be appointed
as Chief of Survey Party and Draftsman, replacing J. Harold Chapman in the County Engineer's Office;
this action to be effective February 1, 1963.
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that John H. Steckly be appointed
at apantw replacing James Petras at the Washington County Home and Hospital for Men; this action
to be effective February 1, 1963.
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Richard Melnyk be appointed
as a Warden replacing Willis Crawford at the Washington County Home and Hospital for Men; this
