Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr, Petttit, that after consultation with the
County Controller, Peter M1ish, and ascertaining from his that there would be a considerable
savings from the County of Washington and the citizens of eur County, we feel it would be
advisable that the County Solicitor be directed to prepare a Less* for the leasing of a were -
house for the storage of surplus food. ,
Motion carried unanAmously,
Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the meeting be recessed until
Monday, March 18, 1963, at 10:00 a.m.
Notion carried unanimously.

Board of Cruelty Commissioners met in regular session with the following members
being presents Conri.ssioners Pettit, Cvmniw and Mazza. Also present being Reporter Crouse
and Mr. ft"shaw.
Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded * Mr. Pettit, that the County of Washington enter
into an Agreement with John flicollela of Washington, Pennsylvania, for the rental of a warehouse
for the storage of surplus food at an annual. 1laAltllK 1 of $15#000*00 and the County Solicitor is
hereby directed to prepare said lease agreement for our approval and signatures.
Remarks:
"Mr. Mazza, I made the following motion after the County Centroller and I
completed a detailed study of the surplus flood department.*
Mr. Cumainst The only reason I am Toting for this project is due to the fact that
the County Controller and Minority Comasissioner have made the rotenwavdation to the Majority
Coomi.ssiesers pointing out that there will be a savings is money to the-14apayors of Washington
County, also that the•werehouse will be centrally located.
Motion carried unneimeusly.
Letters received from Q Scranton and Representative Posen concerning
Industrial Developmobt in Washington County. (Resolution forwarded to and other
officials on the 8th dapr of March, 1963).
Motion by Mr. Ouninins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the letter of resignatios
submitted by Virginia Sonsky.. Clerk in the Registration Office, be accepted effective May 1, 196.6.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mar. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pottity that the County Solicitor be

directed to file with the Court a petition is rot "Carroll Township Alteration of BmAs of
Election Districts."
