BLATCH CUMMINS, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS and notify Mr. Simmons I think the proper party to pay this bill is the litigant, Mr. Stuart. Motion by Mr, Mazza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that upon the recommendation of the County Solicitor, the bill of Tempest & Simmons, Attorneys, Monongahela, Pennsylvania, be re- turned to Mr. Stuart for payment. Motion carried. Mr. Pettit read copy of a letter written to Governor Scranton which he received from the Charleroi-Monesson Hospital, North Charleroi, Pennsylvania, regarding the recommended plan of the Governor for purchase of care recommendations for hospitalization of patients unable to pay and under age 65. The Board of Commissioners agreed to retun the contract the County entered into with the McGinley Maintenance, Ince, 159 Fisher Heights, Monongahela, Pennsylvania, for the cleaning of the Courthouse unsigned, due to the fact that the County Controller did not agree to the contract. Mr. Pettit remarked that a request should be made of the County Controller to furnish the Board of Commissioners with a mid -year report to check the budget status of the various departments. first of July. Mr. Mazza stated that the County Controller would have the report ready by the Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the meeting be adjourned, Motion carried. THE FOREGOING MINUTE READ AND APPMVED: 1963 ATTEST: NO. 347 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., June 19, 1963 Board of County Commissioners met in special session with the following members being present: Commissioners Pettit and Mazza. Motion by Mr. Pettit, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Rose Elish, be appointed as a Matron at the Washington County Home for Aged Women; this action to be effective June 17, 1963. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Pettit, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Howard B. Main, be appointed as an Assistant Dairyman at the Washington County Home and Hospital for Men; this action to be effective June 16, 1963, Mr. Main is replacing George Todd. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Pettit, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Lillian Manzini be appointed as a clerk in the Tax Claim Bureau; this action to be effective June 17, 1963. Mrs. Manzini is being transferred from the Coroner's Office. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Pettit, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the meeting be adjourned.
