Office of the County Commissioners
Washington, Pa., June 28, 1963
Board of County Commissioners met in regular session with the following members
being present: Commissioners Pettit and Mazza. Also present being Tax Claim Bureau Solicitor
Yablonski, John Yuhas of the Engineer's Office and Mr. Bradshaw.
Mr. Yuhas informed the Board that the Federal Government offered to the County,
without cost, a fire truck to be used at the Washington County Airport. The County would be
required to provide a building to house said equipment. Mr. Yuhas was given instructions to
obtain the estimate cost of a building approximately 18' x lb' x 361.
Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the Courthouse be closed on
Thursday, July 4, 1963, in observance of Independence Day.
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the next regular meeting of the
Board of County Commissioners be held .on Monday, July 8, 1963..
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Mazza,, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the resignation of Rita Elifanti,
Clerk in the Tax Assessment Office, be accepted effective June 28, 1963.
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the meeting be adjourned.
