BLATCH CUMMINS, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS V ......... �r NO. 35o Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., July 8, 1963 Board of County Commissioners met in regular session with the following members being present: Commissioners Pettit and Cummins. Also present being Mr. Bradshaw and Mr. Stathas. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the County Controller be authorized to advertise for bids for the furnishing and delivering of Tax Assessment Supplies for the year 1964, to be used by the Washington County Tax Assessment Office; said bids to be received by the County Controller in his office in the Courthouse, Washington, Pennsylvania, until 1.1:00 a.m., Daylight Savings Time, Friday, July 26, 1963, and opened immediately thereafter in the Office of the County Commissioners. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the Articles of Agreement between Washington County and Allegheny County Workhouse and Inebriate Asylum at Parkview, be executed; this being a semi-annual contract (commencing July 1, 1963 and ending December 34 1961), covering the boarding of prisoners at said institution. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit., that James A. Fazzoni, be employed in the Office of the County Engineer, this action to be effective July 1, 1963. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Thelma Franks be employed as a Practical Nurse at the Washington County Home for Aged Women; this action to be effective June 13, 1963. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, .that Hazel Barbour be appointed as a Practical Nurse at the Washington County Home for Aged Women; this action to be effective June 12, 1963. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Joann J. Staggers be appointed as a kitchen helper replacing Rachel Meredith at the Washington County Home and Hospital for Men; this action to be effective June 27, 1963. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Harry Smith be appointed as an Orderly replacing Walter Venersky at the Washington County Home and Hospital for Men; this action to be effective July 1, 1963. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Theresa Withers be employed as assistant telephone operator replacing Virginia Sensky. Mrs. Withers was employed on April 16, 1963 on a temporary basis and has now completed her training period. Motion carried.
