BLATCH CUMMINS, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS NO. 358A Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., August 23, 1963 Board of County Commissioners met in special session at 11:00 a.m., for the purpose of opening bids for the furnishing of coal for the 1963-1964 season for the heating of the Courthouse, Jail Buildings, Washington County Home and Hospital for Hen and the.Home for Aged Women. Those present at this meeting being: Commissioners Pettit, Cummins, Mazza, Controller Elish and Chief Clerk Polaski. Also present being: County Statistician Marino, County Solicitor Hormell, Reporter.Crouse and bidders. Meeting called to order by Chairman of the Board, Francis E. Pettitf. In accordance w ith the aforementioned advertisement, the following bids were opened and read by Controller Elish. August 22, 1963 TO: Commissioners of Washington County Courthouse Washington, Pennsylvania In accordance with the advertisement of the County Controller, inviting proposals for furnishing and delivering coal to heat the Courthouse and Jail Buildings at Washington, Pennsylvania, having examined the attached specifications and understanding the same, I (or We) submit the following bids: $ 6.90 per ton including delivery 5.40 per ton without delivery A certified check in the sum of $500.00 is herewith enclosed.
