Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the contract for the
furnishing and delivering of the necessary ballots to the Office of the County Commissioners for
the conducting of the Municipal November Election to be held Tuesday, November 5, 1963. be
awarded to the MONONGAHELA PUBLISHING COMPANY, Monongahela, Pennsylvania and the WARD PRINTING
COMPANY, Washington, Pennsylvania, for the prices as set forth in their joint bid, this being
the lowest and only bid received.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the contract for the
furnishing and delivering of Election Supplies to the Office of the County Commissioners for
the conducting of the Municipal November Election to be held Tuesday, November 5, 1963, be
awarded to the WILLIAM G. JOHNSTON COMPANY, P.O. Box 6759, Pittsburgh 12, Pennsylvania, for the
total sum of $1,990.00, this being the lowest and only bid received.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the contract for the
delivering of ballot boxes to the Judges of Election for the one hundred eighty-nine (189)
precincts of Washington County for the Municipal November Election to be held on Tuesday..
November 5, 1963, be awarded to EARL RIGGLE and T. M. BLDILLION, R. D. 4, Washington, Penn-
sylvania, for the sum of $1,000.00, this being the lowest and only bid received.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the meeting be adjourned.

Washington, Pa., September 4, 1963
Board of County Commissioners met in special session with the following
members being presents Commissioners Pettit, Cummins, and Mazza.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Walter Gardei be
appointed as a Butcher at the Washington County Home and Hospital for Men; this action to be
effective August 21, 1963. Mr. Gardei replaces Herschel Nassr.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Bessie Camps, Extra Help
at the Washington County Home and Hospital for Men, b e transferred from the extra help payroll
to the regular payroll; this action to be effective August 269 1963. Mrs. Camps is replacing
Patricia McWee.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Norma Jean Roberts be
appointed as a Kitchen Helper replacing Essie Camps at the Washington County Home and
