AND BENEFIT ACCOUNT FOR DESERVING CHILDREN" the following aseounts:

1. The present account in the Mellon National Bank and Trust
Company representing a check received from the Thomas
Egerton Estate and which was deposited on March 17, 1958;
2. A check in the amount of $1,000.00 with the Pittsburgh
National Bank and Trust Company of Washington, Pennsylvania,
which represents a gift from deceased John Majoros, and;
3- Also, the income which is to be annually paid to the Child
Welfare Services from the "Elizabeth Phillips Deceased
Trustee Agreement" which is presently handled by the Mellon
National Bank and Trust Company.
This aeeount is to be administered by the Director of the Child Welfare
Services under the direct control of the County Commissioners and all major expenditures from
this account will be approved by the County Commissioners*
Motion carried unanimously.
Upon motion of Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza,
BE IT RESOLVED, That the Child Welfare Services are directed to use the
necessary money from the account which was created to meet educational needs to provide for
the education of one VERNA SEIBER to attend Penn Commercial College.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Peter F. Jollick,
Superintendent of the Washin-ton County Home and Hospital for Men, is hereby approved and
recorded by the Board of County Commissioners to be appointed as Guardian in all cases involving
the;
1- Washington County Home and Hospital for Men
2. Washington County Home.for Aged Women
3. and what was formerly known as the Washington County Institution
District; and
He is to be bonded in the amount of $50,000.00 annually, and
The Premiums for the bond are to be paid initially by the County and the
expenses will be pro -rated over those estates in which he is appointed Guardian; and after said
expenses are pro -rated the County will be reimbursed.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the meeting be adjourned.

Board of County Commissioners met in special session with the following
members being presents Commissioners Pettit, Cummins, and Mazza. Also present being: Chief
Clerk Polaski.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Joe DeGennaro, be appoint-
ed as a Painter, Account No. 103, this action to be effective September 5, 1963.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Willie Mae Wright be
