That the filing of an application for an Advance of funds from the United States of America to enable it to defray the cost of the surveys and plans for an urban renewal project in the proposed Urban Renewal Area described above is hereby approved. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the following resolutions - in regard to the sale of properties for unpaid taxes by the Washington County Tax Claim Bureau be adopted: RESOLUTION NO. Jacob, situate in North Strabane Township, Washing- ton County, Pennsylvania. This is the owner repurchasing to clear cloud of the Oct. 29, 1962 Tax Sale. $210.39 688 David Thomas Chevine Being property described as 2 Lots 310-311, Fourth Avenue, New Eagle, plan part 3, situate in the Borough of New Eagle, Washington County, Pennsylvania, formerly assessed in the name of Mike and Pearl Gondas. $150.00 689 John M. Toothman Being property described as Brick House #21, Lot 31 Ontario Plan, DB 710-626, formerly a ssessed in the name of Roger & Helen Davis, situate in North Bethlehem Township,Washington County, Pennsylvania $500.00 Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the County Controller be authorized to re -invest the amount of $125,000.00 of the Washington County General Fund and Improvement Bond Fund for the purpose of purchasing 90-Day Treasury Certificates. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the meeting be adjourned. Motion carried unanimously. THE FOREGOING MINUTE READ AND APPROVED: 1963 ATTEST: CHIEF CLERK NO. 367 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., October 2, 1963 Board of County Commissioners met in special session for the purpose of opening bids for the rental of warehouse space for the storage of surplus food, and also for the purpose of opening bids for the seal coating of the aircraft ramp and runway at the Washington County Airport. Following members being presents Commissioners Pettit, Cummins, Mazza, Deputy Controller Luketich and Controller dish. Also present being County Solicitor Hormell, Chief Clerk Polaski and bidders. Following bid for the rental of warehouse apace for the storage of surplus food was read by Controller Elish, this being the only bid received.
