BLATCH CUMMINS, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS Dear Sirs: The undersigned hereby signifies that he has fully acquainted himself with the attached specifications and hereby agrees to supply all the materials and perform the necessary work to patch and seal coat at the ramp at the Administration Building and runway. Our price for the total work is: Using Coal Tar Pitch Emulsion Slurry Six thousand six hundred -----------------Dollars ($6,600.00) Bid bond with SEABOARD SURETY COMPANY enclosed in the amount of $750.00. Respectfully submitted, BLACK TOP PRODUCTS, INC. 446 East Beau Street Washington, Pennsylvania Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, Lthat the bids be tabled until Friday, October 11, 1963, at 11:00 a.m., at which time bids will be awarded, in order to give the Engineer's Office an opportunity to study the bids. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the meeting be adjourned. Motion carried unanimously. THE FOREGOING MINUTE READ AND APPROVED: n 1963 ATTEST:,�� , CHIEF CLERK NO. 368 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., October 4, 1963 Board of County Commissioners met in regular session with the following members being present: Commissioners Pettit, Cummins, and Mazza. Also present being County Solicitor Hormell, Chief Clerk Polaski, Reporter Crouse and Mr. Bradshaw. Meeting called to order by Chairman of the Board, Francis E. Pettit. Pcllowing correspondence read by Mr. Pettit: 1. Letter from Douglas Bowman, Superintendent of Schools, expressing appreciation for interest and assistance of the Redevelopment Authority and the Planning Commission. 2. Letter from Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Highways, acknowledging annual report of encumbrances, and stating the County will be certified for the December payment of these funds. 3. Copy of letter from Greene County Commissioners to Wheeling Creek Water -Shed Project Committee, regarding the project to protect the City of Wheeling and outlying communities, stating that they will use their best efforts to advance the project, if the various districts to be protected will finance the major share of the cost of dams to be located in Greene County. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the County of Washington, in consideration of the sum of One ($1.00) Dollar, grant right-of-way through the Fairgrounds at Arden, Pennsylvania, to the West Penn Power Company and Convey a portion of an electric distrib- ution line to the West Penn Power Company.
