Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the bid for the furnishing of Public Liability Insurance and Property Damage Insurance (Limits of Liability $20,000. each person; 100,000, each accident) (Limits of Property Damage 1,000. for each accident); be awarded to Henry G. Hood & Sons, 51 South Main Street, Washington, Pennsylvania, for the total premium of $847.64 for a term of one (1) year, this being the lowest bid received: Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Reese Dugan be appointed as a Field Assessor for the Tax Assessment Office, this action being retroactive to January 16, 1956. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Glenn Hennen be appointed as a Field Assessor for the Tax Assessment Office, this action being retroactive to January 16, 1956. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Howard Weaver, be appointed as a Field Assessor for the Tax Assessment Office, this action being retroactive to January 16, 1956, Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Joan Kosko be appointed as a Clerk in the Tax Assessment Office, this action being retroactive to January 16, 1956. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Mary Koval be appointed as a Clerk in the Registration Office, this action being retroactive to Jarnary 16, 1956, Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the Department of Veterans' of Washington County make application for Social Security death payment only in the case the furneral expenses are paid by other than members of the immediate family.
