INTY, PENNSYLVANIA' FRANCIS F—,PETTIT, tl ZA, CammissinNEas 17 FJ u Motion by Mr, Pettit, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that a refund voucher in the amount of $85.61 be made payable to Mr. Stanley H. Brady, Locust Wilson Apt. 15, Washington, Pennsylva said refund to cover an over -payment of taxes for the year of 1955 paid on July 20, 1955. Reas, for said refund being that an over -payment was made by Mr. Brady erroneously filing a Personal Property Return, listing taxable items which he owned jointly with persons who are not Pennsyl- vania residents. Only the items owned by Mr. Brady himself and one-half of those owned jointly should have been filed. Therefore, The Personal Property Department of the Tax Assessment Offi is authorized to prepare said voucher in the amount of $85.61 payable to Stanley H. Brady. Amount of valuation filed .............. $68,490. Amended valuation ........... ...........$lJ.5,9%. Amount of valuation for refund .... .....$22,530.......tax $90.12 less 5% discount. 4.51 U. >1 Motion carried. After considering several proposals for professional engineering service in tion with the development of the Washington County Airport, which services are a necessary asi ance to the County in its dealings with State and Federal Agencies in connection with the Fed, Airport Program; the motion was made by Mr. Pettit, seconded by Mr. Mazza, to enter into a coi with the Michael Baker, Jr., Inc., of Rochester, Pennsylvania, for such service, they being qi fied for such project by reason of vast experience in airport facilities and their reputation being of the highest professional caliber. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Pettit, seconded by Mr. Lane, that Katherine -Morrison., who resides at R. D. #21 Eighty Four, Pennsylvania, be appointed as Assessor of Somerset Towwnship, to fill the vacancy which exists by the resignation of L. P. Morrison. Motion carried unanimously.
