Motion by Mr. Dane, seconded by Mr. P4pttit,that Amor Flenniken be authorized to sign letters, deeds and other papers in connection with the functions of the Washington County Tax Claim Bureau in the capacity of Acting Director of said bureau. adjourned. Motion carried unanimously. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting Office of the County Commissioners - Washington, Pa., February 10, 1956 Board of County Commissioners met in special session at 11.:00 a.m., for the purpose of opening bids for the furnishing of Fleet Insurance for Public Liability, Property Vaxagd,, Comprehensive A.C.Q., Fire, Theft and Collison, those present at the meeting being Commissioners Pettit, Lane, Mazza and Controller Elish. In accordance with the aforementioned advertisement, the following bids were opened and read. I February 10, 1956 Peter E1ish, Controller and Washington County Commissioners Courthouse Washington, Pennsylvania Gentlemen: We respectfully submit the following quotation for Fleet Insurance for Public Liability, Property'Damage. Comprehensive A. C. V... Fire, Theft and Collision coverage as per schedule of equipment attached hereto, to be written for a term of one (1) year effebtive at 12:01 a.m., February 18, 1956. Premium for Liability and Property Damage is: 1. $780.92 To be placed with following company Zurich Insurance Company Premium for Couprehensive A.C.V., Fire, Theft and Collision is: 2. Sl,*128.53 To be place with following company Zurich Insurance Company Total premium for coverage or total of items 1 and 2 is: 3. $1, 909.45 The right is reserved at the discretion of the County Commissioners to award the I . lowest bid as to either item 1 or 2 or the lowest total of both, Certified check in the amount of $100.00, made payable to Washington County Commis- sioners, is enclosed as evidence that bidder will accept same and carry out the conditions of the contract in case of award. (address) Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the bid for the furnishing of Fleet Insurance for Public Liability, Property Damage, Comprehensive A.C.V., Fire, Theft and Collision; be awarded to S. W. MILLER AGENCY, 40 N. Main Street, Washington, Pennsylvania, for the total premium of $1,909.45, contract to be writen for a term of one (1) year, this being the lowest responsible bid received. Motion carried unanimously. The following regular business was conducted at this time. Lotion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Isabelle Flynn be appointed as a Clerk in the Tau Assessment Office, this action being retroactive to -February 1, 1956. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Steve Obertach be appointed as a Clerk in the Tax Assessment Office, this action being retroactive to February 1, 1956. Lotion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Mary Rastoka be appointed as a IClerk in the Registration Office, this action being retroactive to February-1, 1956. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Mildred Pacilla be appointed as a lClerk in the Tax Claim Bureau, this action being retroactive to February 1, 1956. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Ann Getto be appointed as a Clerk lin the Tait Claim Bureau, this action being retroactive to February 1, 1956. Motion carried with Mr. Mazza not voting.
