Kelly be appointed as a temporary clerk in the Tad Assessment Office, this action being retroactive to April 1, 1956. Motion carried. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Jay Belanlbe appointed as a temporary employee of the Tax Assessment Office, this action being retroactive to April 1, 1956. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Tony Bartkus be appointed as a temporary employee of the Tax Assessment Office, this action being retroactive to April 4 1956. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that William McKnight be appointed as a temporary employee of the Tax Assessment Office, this action being retroactive to April 13, 1956. Philomena Chuey Charmai.ne Zoretic Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the Personal Property Department of the Board for the Assessment and Revision of Taxes, be authorized to prepare a refund voucher in the amount of $540.47 be made payable to Peoples First National Bank and Trust Company, Sundry - Estates, Pittsburgh, Pa., said refund to cover overpayment of taxes for the year 1955, said taxes paid July 29, 1955. Peoples First National. Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the Personal Property Department of the Board for the Assessment and Revision of Taxes, be authorized to prepare a refund voucher in the amount of $113.66 be made payable to Peoples First National Bank and Trust Co., Sundry List, (W. R. Mcllvaine Charitable Trust), said refund to cover tax paid on July 29th, for the tax year of 19514 by the Charitable Trust. An error in accounts was created when the Washington Union Trust Company accounts were being transferred to the records of the Peoples First National. Bank and Trust Company, there were two Trusts under agreements of W. R. Mcllvaine, one for charities and one for two individuals. When transcribing these accounts the titleswere switched and the net result being the bank filed and paid tax on the charitable trust and excluded the account which was taxable. At this time, Mr. Elish, County Controller entered the meeting for the purpose of opening bids for the furnishing and delivery of a Steel Filing Case for Record Books to the Office of the Prothonotary., said bids were to be opened on March 2"a., but had been postponed to this date. In accordance with the aforementioned advertisement the following bid was opened and read. TO: THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF WASHINGTON COUNTY: IN THE I STATE CF PENNSYLVANIk. I PROPOSAL The undersigned hereby propose(s) ,to do all the work in and about the furnishing and delivery of a Steel Filing Case for Record Books to the Office of the Prothonotary in the Courthouse - Washington, Pennsylvania,, all in accordance with the Specifiostions and Instructions to Bidders as prepared by the Engineering Department; and to furnish all labor; materials and appliances required for the doing of all the work complete; for and in consideration of compensa'. tion according to the following schedule of prices.
