Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Frank Perenic who resides at Box 126, South View, Pa., be appointed as Assessor of Mt. Pleasant Township to fill the vacancy which now exists by the resignation William Mull, Jr. Motion carried. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting adjourned. THE FOREGOING MINUTE READ AND APPROVED; June , 1 56 AT Chief clerk / NO. Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., Mw 14.. 1956 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Commissioners Pettit, Lane and Mazza. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the request of G. J. Dentel's for a six month leave of absence from his position with the County Commissioners be granted as of June 1, 1956. Motion carried unanimously. At this time, the awarding of the Contract for the furnishing and delivery of a Steel Filing Case for Record Books for the Office of the Prothonotary was acted upon. Said bids were opened on April 9, 1956. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, after a complete study had been ;wade by Mr. Cramrine, Chief Engineer., the MONONGAHELA PUBLISHING CO., of 440-442 Main Street, Monongahela, Pa., be awarded the contract for the furnishing and delivery of said Steel Filing Case for Record Books for the Office of the Prothonotary, for the total amount of $1.9828.24.. this being the lowest and only bid received. Motion carried unanimously. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting adjourned.
