Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane; seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Frank Zoretic be appointed as a tempo - racy employee in the drafting room of the Tax Assessment Office, this action being retroactive to June 18, 1956. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Edmund F, Likar be appointed as a tem. porary employee of the field crew in the Tax Assessment Office, this action being retroactive to June 18, 1956. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Henry H. Hallam be appointed as a tem. porary employee in the drafting room of the Tax Assessment Office, this action being retroactive to June 19, 1956. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that John B. Spriggs be appointed as a tem- porary assistant electriean, this action being retroactive to June 11, 1956. Motion carried unanimously. Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., June 25, 1956 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Commissioners Pettit, Lane and Mazza. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that a refund voucher in the amount of $3.81 be made payable to Joseph & Lucy Lengyel, 415 West College St., Canonsburg, Pa., due to a dupli- cate payment of occupation tag. Mr. & Mrs. Lengyel were assessed for their occupation tax on properties owned by them in both the 2nd Ward and 3rd Ward of Canonsburg. On June 17, 1954 the occupation tax amounting to $2.00 was paid when the real estate tau was paid on property assessed in the 2nd Ward of Canonsburg, the amount was included on the real estate tax card; the amount of $2.00 was again paid, on the same date, when the real estate tax was again paid on property asse&- sed in the 3rd Ward of Canonsburg, the amount was again included on the real estate tat card causing a duplication. On July 9, 1955 the occupation tax amounting to $1,81 was paid when the real estate tax was paid on property assessed in the 2nd Ward of Canonsburg, the amount was included on the real estate tax card; the amount of $1.81.was again paid, on the same date, when the real estate tax was paid on property assessed in the 3rd Ward of Canonsburg, the amount was again included on the real estate tax card causing a duplication.
