Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Helen Alexas, be appointed as a temporary clerk in the Tax Claim Bureau, this action being retroactive to July 1, 1956. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Colleen Black, be appointed as a temporary clerk in the Tax Claim Bureau, this action being retroactive to July 1, 1956, Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that ruby Taylor be appointed as a temporary clerk in the Registration Office, this action being retroactive to July 1, 1956. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Stanley Vinton, be appointed as a temporary employee of the field crew in the Tax Assessment Office, this action being retro- active to July 1, 1956. Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Commis. sioners Pettit, Lane and Mazza, Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that a refund voucher in the amount of $5.96 be .made payable to Anthony and Ems, Fedorchak of Boa 151, Lock Four Branch, Charleroi, Pa., due to a re. -assessment of property causing an ever payment on their 1955 County Tax. On July 22, 1955, the mount of $40.26 was paid on property assessed in the name of Anthony and Emma Fedorchak on property situate in Carroll Township and described as 6 room brick house, part lot 57-0046 acre, Craven Hill Plan„ The amount of this tax was reduced to $34.30 by appeal on tax adjustment no. 2187, thereby causing this over payment of $5.96. Therefore, the Tax Glare. Bureau is authorized to prepare said refund voucher in the amount of $5.96. Motion carried unaanimously. At this time, the awarding of the contracts for the furnishing, delivering and installing of equipment for use in the Pr+othonotary's Office and document file and trolling ladder for use in the Register of Wills Office were awarded.
