PETTM, JCMN M A, Commtaffiiar4t i3" MONONdAM6LA PY.LI.NINO CO RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the United States Engineer has conducted a survey of Charti era Creek for the propose of Local Flood Protection within the City of Washington and Canton Township* m WfiERX&S, the Board of County Commissioners may regulate, improve and control rivers, streams and other bodies of water for the prevention and control of floods, and WHEREAS, the County Commissioners may enter into such arrangements and agreements with other public authorities as may be necessary for such proposes, NOWT, rrwururts, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE WASHINGTON COUNTY CaWSSIONERS Thant 1. For such proposes, the County Commissioners shall do all acts that may be necessary and proper to effectually carry the County's share of the Local Flood Prevention Project, with a view to harmonious and efficient action and r.„r4 tionate contribution as nearly as may be arrived at or be practicable. Motion by Mr, Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the County Controller be author- ized to advertise for bids for the furnishing and delivery of Tax Assessment Supplies for the year 1957s, to be used by the Washington County Tax Assessment Office; said bids to be received by the County Controller in his Office in the Courthouse, Washington, Pa., until 11:30 a.m., 1 Daylight Savings Time, Monday, August 20, 19562 and opened immediately thereafter in the Office of the County C ssioners. Motion harried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the followii* be appointed as temporary employees of the field crew in the Tax Assessment Office for a period of one month, this action being effective August 4, 1956.
