PETTITv *vSj"SaW0 AiZA1 COMMISSIONERS In accordance wig the advertisement of the County Controller, inviting proposals for the delivering of ballot boxes with election supplies for the General Election to be held on November 6, 1956, to Judges of Election for the one -hundred eighty-eight (188) Precincts of Wash. ington County, I (or We) propose to deliver said ballot boxes with election supplies to the various Judges of Election for the sum of: $550.00 A certified check in the amount of $100.00, made payable to the Washington County Commissioners, is enclosed herewith as evidence that the bidder will accept same and carry out the conditions of the contract in case of award. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting adjourned. THE FOREGOIM MINUTE READ AND APPROVED: September , 1 56 AITT Chief Clerk / I - Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., August 10, 1956 Board of County Commissioners met in special session at 1:30 p.m., for the purpose of awarding the contracts for the furnishing and delivering of election supplies for the General Election to be held on Tuesday, November 6, 1956, those present being Comlai.ssioners Pettit, Lane and Controller Elish. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the contract for the printing I and delivering of the ballots for use in the General Election to be held on Tuesday, November 6, 1956, be awarded to the MONONGAHELA, PUBLISHING COMPANY, Monongahela, Pa., and the WARD PRINT- ING COMPANY, Washington, Pa., for the prices as set forth in their joint bid; being the only responsible bidder.
