Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Commissioners
Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by,Mr. Lane, that a refund voucher in the amount of
$1.14 be mead® payable to Charles Hart ,9 East Beau Street, Washington, Pa., of the Borough of
East Washington, due to a duplicate payment of the 1955 occupation tax. On July 6, 1955 the
occupation tax was paid in the amount of $1.14 and again on July 13, 1955, Mr. Bart paid taxes
in the amount of $53.25 which amount included the two occupations, thus making a duplicate pay-
ment in the amount of $1.14. Therefore, The Tax Claim Bureau is authorized to prepare said
refund voucher in the amount of 41.14 payable to Charles Bart.
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Mazza., seconded by Mr. Lane, that a refund voucher in the amount
of $.91 be made payable to Glenn Long, 69 W. Katherine Ave., Washington, Pa., of.the 6th Ward
in the City of Washington, due to a duplicate payment of the 1955 occupation tax. On July 26,
1955 Mr. Long paid his county tax amounting to $8.58 which included his occupation tax and on
the same date paid an occupation tax card in the amount of $.91, thus making a duplicate payment
in the amount of $.91, Therefore, The Tax Claim Bureau is authorized to prepare said refund
voucher in the amount of $.91 payable to Mr. Glenn Long.
Motion carried.

adjourned.

cleaning woman in the Courthouse, this action being retroactive to August 16, 1956.

Motion by Mro Mazza, seconded by Mr. Lane, that a refund voucher in the amount of
$.52 be -made payable to boy G. & Gladys M. Dunkle c/o First Federal Savings and Loan Association
of Waynesburg, due to an over -payment on the 1956 County Tax. Can May 171, 1956 the amount of
$21..95 was paid on property assessed in the name of Roy G. & Gladys M. Dunkle, situate in Amwell
Township and described as 4 roars house unfinished and 47 acres surface adjoining Bristor & Sargent,,.
The acreage on this property was reduced by Tax Adjustment on May 17, 1956 and thus the tax was
reduced to $21.43 which caused an over payment of $.52 on said property. Therefore; The Tax
Claim Bureau is authorized to prepare said refund -voucher in the amount of $.57- made payable to
Hoy G. & Gladys M. Dunkle c/o First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Waynesburg, Pennsyl-
vania,

Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Lane, that a refund voucher in the amount of
$1.05 be made payable to -Michael J,► Morgan, lath Street Extension, Monongahela, Pennsylvania, due
to an over payment on the 1956 County Tax. On June 25, 1956, the -amount of $25.46 was paid on
property assessed in the name of Michael J. & Mary P. Morgan, situate in Carroll Township and
desoribed•as 6 room frame house Let 50 x 200 adjoining Polaski. The occupation tax was removed
from Mary P. Morgan by Tax ,Adjustment No. 3172 making the correct amount of tax payable $24.41,
thus oausing an over payment of $1,05. Therefore,The Tau Claim Bureau, is authorized to prepare
said refund voucher in the amount of $1,05 made payable to Michael J. Morgan, 4th Street Extension,
Monongahela, Pa.

Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr, Lane, that a refund voucher in the amount of
$2,09 be made payable=to Wm, F, & Helen D. Hamilton, ltth Street Extensibi4,Monongahela, Pennsyl-
vania, due to a duplicate payment of occupation tax. On July 27, 1956, Mr. Hamilton paid,taxes
in the amount of $5.39 on property assessed in Carroll Township, described as a Lot - Washington
Pike, this amount included the occupation tax. On July 27, 1956, Mr. Hamilton paid taxes in the
amount of $40.40 on real estate property and occupation on property assessed to him in the 3rd
Ward of the City of Monongahela, which caused a duplicate payment amounting to $2,09, being that
it is incorrect to be assessed an occupation tax in two districts. Therefore, The Tax Claim
Bureau is authorized to prepare said refund voucher in the amount of $2.09 made payable'to Wm. F.
& Helen D, Hamilton, lath Street Extension, Monongahela, Pennsylvania.

Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr, Lane, that a refund voucher in the amount (of
$1.05 be made payable to Edna Collinet, 103 Prospect Avenge, Charleroi, Pennsylvania, due to an
over payment on the 1956 County Tax. On June 5, 1956, the amount of $21.95 was paid on property
assessed in the name of Edna Collinet, situate in the Borough of Charleroi and described as buinga-
low, Lot No. 97 Prospect Avenue, Edna Collinet was assessed with two occupation taxes, one occupa-
tion tax was removed -by tax adjustment no. 264.6, making the correct amount of tau payable $20, 0,
thus causing an over payment of $1.05# -Therefore, The Tax Claim Bureau is authorized to prepare
said refund voucher in the amount of $1.05 made payable to Edna Collinet, 103 Prospect Avenue,
Charleroi, Pennsylvania.

Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Lane, that a refund voucher in the amount of
$1.04 be made payable to Miller M. Bane, Est., % Boyd M. Bane, R. D,I A, Frederiektown, Pennsyl-
vania, due to an over payment on the 1956 County Tau. On June 7, 1956, the amount of $14.3.1 wa.1
paid on property assessed in the mane of Miller M. Bane Estate, situate in the Borough of Deemstor_
and described as 5 acres surface, 5 room I room house - garage adjoining Margaret Morey, t%e
estate was assessed with an occupation of $1.00. for a carpenter. This occupation tax was removed
by tax adjustment no. 2953, making the correct amount of tax payable $13.07, thus causing an over
payment of $1*04* Therefore, The Tau Claim Bureau is authorized to prepare said refund voucher
in the amount of $1.Q4 made payable to Miller M. Bane Est., c/o Boyd M. Bane, R. D. ,#1, Frederick -
town, Pennsylvania.

Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Lane, that a refund voucher in the amount of
$1.05 be made payable to Homer L. Roberts, 4522 Cooper Aveznue, Royal Oak, Michigan, due to an
over payment on the 1956 County Tax. On July 9, 1956, the amount of $42,85 was paid on property
assessed in the name of Homer L. Roberts, situate in North Bethlehem Township and described as
Frame House - Barn & Station, 107 acres surface, adjoining Pittsburgh Coal Co. - Morrow, with an
occupation of $100. for a farmer. This occupation tax was removed by tax adjustment no. 3209,
making the correct amount of tax payable $41.80, thus causing an over payment of $1.05. There-
fore, The Tax Claim Bureau is authorized to prepare said refund voucher in the amount of $1.05
made payable to Homer L. Roberts, 4522 Cooper Avenue, Royal. Oak, Michigan.

Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Lane, that a refund voucher in the amount of
$1.88 be made payable to James Ellerton, $. O. 3, McMurray Road, Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, due to
an over payment on the 1956 County Taut. On June 19, 1956, the amount of 89.93 was paid on properly
assessed in the name of James & Sue Ellerton, situate in Peters Township and described as cottage
1 acre surface with an occupation tax assessed in the amount of $100. for carpenter and $100. for
houseikeeper; these occupations were corrected to read Invalid $10. and Invalid $10. by tax adjust-
ment no. 3074, making the correct amount, of tax payable $8.05, thus causing an over payment of
$1.68. Therefore, The Tax Claim Bureau is authorized to prepare said refund voucher in the amount
of $1.88 made payable to James Ellerton, R. D. 3, McMurrary Road, Canonsburg, Pennsylvania.

$2.09 be made payable to James E. & Stella M, Olsen, R. D. 1„ Venetia, Pennsylvania, due to an
over payment on the 1956 County Tau. 0n June 26, 1956, the amount of $24*56 was paid by Mr. Olser,
on property assessed in the name of Chas. A. Carroll, situate in Peters Township, described as 1
story brick veneer house, Lot 10, Sunset Acres. The tax on this property was reduced to $22.47
by tax adjustment no. 3209 when the property was transferred from Chas. A. Carroll to James 8. &
Stella M. Olsen, making an over payment by Olsen in the amount of $2.09. Therefore, The Tax
0laim Bureau is authorized to prepare said refund voucher in the amount of $2.09 made payable to
James E. & Stella M. Olsen, R. D. 1, Venetia, Pennsylvania.. .
