Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza,,that a refund voucher in the amount
of $44.08 be made payable to Wm. Taper Estate c/o Mr. Lindaff, Mellon National Bank and Trust
Company, Washington, Pennsylvania. Reason for refund being that the Mellon National Bank and
Trust Company on July 23, 1956 filed and paid personal property tax for the above named estate
on 400 shares of Curtis Wright Corporation. This stock is classified exempt by the Prentice Hall
Inc. supplemental list dated June 1, 1956, Therefore, The Personal Property Department of the
Tax Assessment Office, is hereby authorized to prepare said refund voucher in the amount of
$44.08.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Alex Patterson be appointed
as Deputy Registrar in the Registration Office, to fill the vacancy which was created by the
transfer of Stanley Brovey; this action being effective the lst of October, 1956.
Motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the
meeting adjourned.
