There being ,no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting "d 4'-4 �_ef Clerk Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., October 15, 1956 Board of County Commissioners in regular session,those present being Commissioners Pettit, Lane and Mazza. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that a refund voucher in the amount of $2.10 be made payable to Fred C. Kohring of the Borough of Houston c% Mellon National Bank, Washington, Pennsylvania, due to a duplicate payment of the 1956 Occupation Tax. On August 1, 1956, Mr. Kohring paid his 1956 County Tax on property assessed in the Borough of Houston, described as 1 story frome house and part lot 7 Block 2, the occupation for he and his wife was included on the tax card making a total amount of $22.99 paid on said date. On August 1, 1956, Mr. Kohring again paid his occupation tax and his wife's on individual tax cards amounting to 2.10, thus causing a duplicate payment. Therefore, The Tax Claim Bureau is authorized to prepa.ry the said refund voucher in the amount of $2.10 payable to Fred C. Kohring c% Mellon National Bank - Washington,, Pennsylvania. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that a refund voucher in the amount of $1.05 be made payable to Dr. Michael H. Sharman, R. D. 3, Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, due to a duplicate payment of the 1956 occupation tax. On July 25, 1956, Dr. Sharman paid bis County Tax on property assessed in Canonsburg Borough 3rd Ward, described as 2 story frame house, Lot B DB 913, and occupation assessed as a Laborer for $100, which is incorrect. A correction slip dated September 26, 1956 removed this occupation and Dr. Sharman is charged with an occupation tax in North Strabane Township in the amount of $200 as a doctor, which is the correct charge and which was paid on June 8, 1956. Due to said correction slip' a refund voucher in the amount of $1.05 is due. Therefore, The Tax Claim Bureau is authorized to prepare said refund voucher in the amount of $1.05 made payable to Dr. Michael H. Sharman. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that a refund voucher in the amount of $3.92 be made payabel to Pasquale & Evelyn Charml.ey, The Circle, Washington, Pennsylvania, due to a duplication of occupation tax.
