On July 3, 1956, the occupation tax amounting to $2.10 was paid twice, once along with the 1956 County Tax on property assessed in the 1st Ward of Washington then on the individual occupation tax cards, thus making a duplicate payment of $2.10. Therefore, the Tax Claim Bureau,is authorized to prepare said refund voucher in the amount of $3.92 made payable to Pasquale & Evelyn Charmley. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that a refund voucher in the amount of $26.34 be made payable to Pennsylvania Railroad Company, 502 Penna. Station, Pittsburgh 22, Pennsylvania, due to a duplicate payment of 1956 County Tax on property assessed in the Borough of North Charleroi, described as Garage, House, Plot 89 x 172 x 25. On August 1, 1956, the Pennsylvania Railroad Company paid the takes on this property amounting to $26.34. On August 16, 1956, Michael & Margaret L. Savadeck paid taxes on this property amounting to $30.80 which is correct being that the property was transferred to them by Tax Adjustment No. 2686, therey causing a duplicate payment. Therefore, The Tax Claim Bureau, is authorized to prepare said refund vouche- in the amount of $26,34 made payable to Pennsylvania Railroad Company. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr., Mazza, that a refund voucher in the amount of $26.13 be made payable to D. C. & Margaret R. Calabro, 255 Gladden Road, Canonsburg, Pa., due to an over payment of taxes. Taxes in the amounts of $81.26 and $68.72 were paid on August 1, 1956, by D. C. & Margaret R. Calabro, on property assessed in Chartiers Township described as Garage, Storage Shed, 1.71 acre surface McGovern Plan also property described as brick concrete block garage and lot 745 x 100 Hrs. Plan. These taxes were reduced to read $76.03 and $47.82 by tax adjustment no. 4012, thus causing an over payment of $26.13. Therefore, The Tax Claim Bureau, is authorized to prepare said refund voucher in the amount of $26.13 made payabel to D. C. & Margaret R. Calabro. Motion carried unanimously. D. 1, West Brownsville, Pa., due to a duplicate payment of their 1956 County Tax, On May 1, 1956, the amount of $26.13 was paid by the First Federal Savings and Loan Association on property assessed in the name of Francis C. & Wanetta McGrady, situate in the Borough of Centerville and described as a 2 story 11 1 1 frame house, Lot 6, Sec B. DB 888-483 Lswn Place Plan. Mr. McGrady, On June 4, 1956, again paid the amount of $26.13 on the same assessment thus causing a duplicate payment of $26.13
