prepare said refund voucher in the amount of $18.81 made payable to Joseph Holepit, Middle Street,
West Brownsville, Pennsylvania.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that a refund voucher in the amount of
$24.56 be made payable to W. A. Clarke Mortgage Co., 324 Fourth Avenue, Pittsblurgh 22, Pennsyl-
vania, due to a duplicate payment of the 1956 County Tax, On June 26, 1956, the W. A. Clarke
Mortgage Company paid the 1956 County Tax on property assessed in the name of Peter L. and Mary
V. Kofalt, % W. A. Clarke Mtg.,Co., situate in Peters Township, described as li Story Brick
Veneer House, Lot No. 4, Sunset Acres Plan in the amount of $24.56. On July 20, 1956, the W. A.
Clarke Mtg. Co., again paid the amount of $24.56 on the same assessment thus causing a duplicate
payment of 24-56 on said property. Therefore, The Tax Claim Bureau is authorized to prepare
said refund voucher in the amount of $24.56 made payable to W. A. Clarke Mortgage Company, 324
Fourth Avenue, Pittsburgh 22, Pennsylvania.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Lane,, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that a refund voucher in the amount of
7.16 be made payable to John Paterlini, Jr., 704 Conrad Avenue, Lock No. 4 Branch, Charleroi,
Pennsylvania, due to an overpayment of the 1956 County Tax. On August 1, 1956, Mr. Paterlini
paid taxes in the amount of $25.66 on the 1956 County Tax assessed in the name of John Paterlini,
Jr., situate in Werth Charleroi Borough, described as House, Building, Lot 21 Block D. A cor-
rection slip dated November 8, 1956 removed lot no. 21 as an incorrect assessment making a
refund of $7.16 due. Therefore, The Tax Claim Bureau is authorized to prepare said refund
voucher in the amount of $7.16 made payable to John Paterlini, Jr., 704 Conrad Avenue, Lock NQ*
4-Branch, Charleroi, Pennsylvania.
Motion carried unanimously.
There beirg no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting
adjourned.

Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Amelia Amatangelo be appointed as
a Clerk in the Tax Assessment Office, this action being retroactive to November 1, 1956.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Claude R., Hamilton be appointed
as a Clerk in the Registration Office on a temporary basis, this action to be effective November

16, 1956.
Motion carried unanimously.
