RMAZZA, COMMISSIONERS . . ... ..... 110. 90 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., November 19., 1956 Board of County Commissioners in regular session those present being Commissioners Pettit., Lane and Mazza. Chief Electrician Engineer, Lucian Spriggs, was called into the meeting at this time to give his opinion on the bids received from General Electric Company and Motorola Communi- cations and Electronics, Inc.., after he had made a complete study of said bids, after some discussion on the Two -Way F. M. Radio Communication System, the following motion was made,, with Mr. Spriggs leaving the meeting. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that a copy of bids., specifications and literature be submitted to Mr. Richard Gerstell., Director of Civil Defense., for his recommenda- tion on the bids as submitted by General Electric Company and Motorola Communications and Elec- tronics., Inc* Motion carried unanimously. I Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza., that the following Resolutions in regard, - to the sale of properties for unpaid taxes by the Washington County Tax Claim Bureau, be adopted: RESOLUTION NO. NAME OF PURCHASER 457 Charles and Lyme Galloway Being property described as Vacant Lot Numbered 52, in the Meadow Plan of Lots, situate in Donegal Townsh' 1p., Washington County, Pennsylvania, formerly owned by Roy V. Cottrell. $125.00 458 Howard R. Fynes Being property described as Vacant Lots Numbered 119-120-121-122-123- 124-125-126-127-128-.21 of 117-118, Miles Street in the Home Place Plan of Lots,situate in the City of Monongahela,, Third Ward, Wash- ington County., Pennsylvania., formerly owned by Sheridan Yohe Estate. $120.00 459 Roy McFeely and Charles Vickers Being property described as 22 Acres Surface, adjoining John Turko property., situate in Nottingham Township, formerly owned by Mary Provost. 6100.00 Pbtion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr; Mazza, that the resignation as submitted by Emilio Alvarez as Field Supervisor of the Tax Assessment Office be accepted, this action effec- tive November 20., 1956. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza., that the County Controller be authorized to advertise for bids for furnishing a policy of insurance to cover all employees of the various offices in the Courthouse and the Washington County Institution District for robbery, burglary and/or larceny inside premises and robbery and larceny outside premises. Such bids will be received by the County Controller in his Office in the Courthouse, Washington., Pennsylvania., until 11:00 a.m.., Eastern Standard Time, Friday, December 7, 1956, and opened immediately there- after in the Office of the County Commissioners.
