furnishing of Election Supplies for the Municipal Primary Election to be held on Tuesday, May
21, 1957, for the sum of 1,825,00 (One Thousand Eight Hundred Twenty Five Dollars)- this being
the only and lowest responsible bid received.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that T. M. BEDILLION, R. D. 4 Wash-
ington, Pennsylvania, be awarded the contract for the delivering of ballot boxes and election
supplies to the 187 Election Precincts or Districts and 2 extra boxes, in the County for the
Municipal Primary Election to be held on May 21, 1957, Tuesday, for the sum of $600.00 (Six
Hundred Dollars); this being the only and lowest responsible bid received.
' Lotion carried unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting
adjourned.

Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Comissione
Pettit, Lane and Mazza.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that W. H. Russell, be appointed as a
Director of the Washington County Housing Authority for a full five (5) year t4au,, commencing
the first Monday of January, 1957, replacing Michael R. Flynn whose term expired January 7, 1957
Motion carried unanimously. Y
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting
adjourned.

Due to the fact that there was not a quorum present at the special meeting of
the Beard of County Ce►mnissioners for the purpose of opening bilds for the fifteen (15) chairs
as advertised, the County Controller, Peter Elfish, initialed the bids received; namely Mononga-
hela Publishing Company, Wards Book Store and Hughes-Ogilvie Company, which are to be tabled
until a quorum is present. Chief Clerk Di Filippo, was also present at the time of initialing
of bids.
