Notion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the proposed budget for County General Fund for the year 1957 be made available for public inspection in the Office of the Chief Clerk to the County Commissioners until Friday, March 29, 1957, on which date said budget will be finally adapted and the rate of taxation fixed for the year 1957, and that the following public notice be given in the Washington Observers - NOTICE In compliance with the provisions of the Acts of Assembly covering such matters, the proposed budgets for the financial affairs for the Washington County General Fund and the Washington County Institution District for the fiscal year 1957 have been prepared and are available for public inspection in the Office of the Chief Clerk to the County Commissioners, Courthouse, Washington, Pennsylvania, said budgets to be finkl.ly adopted on Friday, March 29, 1957. D. #2, Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, be awarded the contract for , doing all the items of work, N furnish all the materials required for the construction of the Tannehill Bridge, Chartiers #29, and the Approaches thereto; and to furnish all labor required therefor; in accordance with the Proposal as bid upon by Richard Construction Company in the tonal amount of bid being $21, 50.3 this being the lowest responsible bid received. Bids were opened by the County Commissioners and County Controller on October 5, 1956; bids were tabled until Mr. Crumrine, County Engineer, county make a eomplet study of all bids received,
