levied and to be collected by the County during the year 1957; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLBIM by the Board of County Commissioners of the said County of Wash-
ington, that for the purpose of providing funds for the payment of current expenses of the Coun
the proper officials of the said County are hereby authorized and directed to negotiate a tem-
porary loam on such terms as may be agreed upon by them, payable out of taxes which have been
levied and to be collected during the year 1957, and so much of said taxes as may be necessary
to repay said loan, with interest, is hereby set aside and designated for that purpose, and iss
a note therefore, payable August 5, 1957, with interest from date of said note at the rate of t
per cent (2%) per annum, free of all taxes levied by Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, which said t

Motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the

Board of County Commissioners in regular session those present being Commissioners
Pettit and Mazza.
Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that a refund voucher in the amount
of $15.40 be made payable to Hayes R. and Eileen M. Harvey, Bentleyville, Pennsylvania, due to
a duplicate payment of their 1956 County Tax. On May 28, 1956, the amount of $14,63 was paid by
Mr. Harvey on property assessed in the name
of Hayes R. and Eileen M.
Harvey,
situate
in the
Borough of Bentleyville and described as 2
story frame house, Lots 19
and part
of 18,
W. F.
Richardson Plan. Mr. Harvey again on August 31, 1956, paid the amount of $15*40 on the same
assessment thus causing a duplicate payment of $15.40 on said property. Therefore, The Tax
Bureau is authorized to prepare said refund voucher in the amount of $15.40 made payable to
% & Eileen M, Harvey, Bentleyville, Pennsylvania,
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr, Pettit, that a refund voucher in the amount
of $1.82 be made payable to Michael Bertovich, Bentleyville, Pennsylvania, due to a duplicate
payment of the 1955 Occupation Tax. On July 29, 1955, the amount of $12.19 was paid by Mr.
Bertovich on property assessed in the name of Michael and Margaret Bertovich and described as
Unfinished House, 0,9 acres, Bertovich Plan with occupations clerk and housekeeper listed on the
tax statement card this property being located in Bentleyville Borough. Mr, Bertovich on July
29, 1955 also paid occupation taxes amounting to 41.82 on the individual tax cards (this eccupa-
tion was listed also in the J*c) of the tax book), thus causing a duplicate payment of occupatioi
tax in the amount of $1.82. Therefore,the Tax Claim Bureau is authorized to prepare said refund
voucher in the amount of $1.82 made payable to Michael Bertovich, Bentleyville, Pennsylvania.

of $2.00 be made payable to John Bertovich, Bentleyville, Pennsylvania, due to an over payment
