Tau it the amount of $3.00 was paid on July 29, 1953 by John Bertovich on property assessed in Bentleyville Borough, described as small house, lots 42-43-44 Oaks Plan. This tax was reduced to read $1.05 face, less .05 discount, $1.00 net by the Tax Assessment Office on April 26, 1954, removing the small house which was assessed to Mr. Bertovich in error, thus causing an over payment of $2.00 on said property. Therefore, The Tax Claim Bureau, is authorizes to prepare said refund voucher in the amount of $2.00 made payable to John Bertovich, Bentleyvillt Pennsylvania. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Resolution #461, dated December 1t3, 1956, adopted by Washington County and the Washington County Institution District be rescind Resolution No. 461 covers property situate in the Borough of Donora, Washington County, Pennsyl- vania, formerly owned by Daniel Zabron and described as Vacant Lot No. 31, Block 75, Meldon Avenue, Union Improvement Company Plan of Lots. The request to rescind this resolution comes from the Tax Claim Bureau, reason for withdrawing of bid being that the bidder discovered that the former owner did not have a good title'to said property. adjourned. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the following resolution be RESOLUTION OF THE BOAZ) OF COMISSIONEBS OF THE COUNTY OF WASHINGTON, PENNSYLVANIA WHEREAS, the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has enacted the Industrial Development Law (Act of May 31, 1956, being Act No. 635 of the 1955 Regular Session) for the purpose of promoting the welfare of the people of the Commonwealth by the rendering of financial assistance to industrial development agencies engaged in promoting the development and expansion of business, industry and commerce in the respective counties of the Commonwealth, and ViER.EA.S, pursuant to the provisions of the Industrial Development Assistance Law only one such industrial development agency shall be designated and qualified in each county to (receive such financial assistance in accordance with the provisions of said law;, and. WHEMAS, to so qualify for such financial assistance an industrial development lagency must be designated for that purpose by the Board of County Commissioners of the county which such industrial development agency is to represent and such designation must be concurred lin by resolutions of the governing bodies of cities, boroughs, towns or townships within the
