Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that'the Washington County Tax Claim
Bureau is hereby authorized to cancel the Treasurer's Tax Sale of January 22, 19,40s for the 1927-
1928-1929-1930 County, School and Road Taxes, plus sale costs for the property slesessed to Peter
Centese and described as:
Vacant Lot No. 49 East side Pine Street, situate in the Borough of Burgettutown,
Washington County, Pennsylvania,
In as much as, the property was sold as property of Peter Centese, whereas, the record title was
then in Louis Caplan, in Leon Spitzer and/or Bessie Caplan by unrecorded dego, and an'outstanding
tax title was in August Valentour, the tax sale should therefore be void and cahel'elled. Therefore
the Tax Claim Bureau, the Tax Aselprawhtt office and the Office of the Prothonotary are hereby
directed to mark their records accordingly.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the Washington County Tax Claim
Bureau is hereby authorized to cancel the Treasurer's Tax Sale of April 25, 1940s for the 1932
County, School and Road Tames, plus sale costs for the property assessed to,Joe Moran, described
as:
2 Lots #74-75, Ellsworth Plan, situate in East Pike Run Townships Washington
County,'Pennsylvania.
In as much as, an examination of the records shows that the property was liened in duplicate in
the names of Joe Moran and Hugh Billinsky a/k/a Hugh Billingsley for the year 1932s and as much
as, the property involved was sold by the Washington County Tax Claim Bureau on March 17, 1950,
to John Clell Yorty and Bernice Jean Yorty, as property of Hugh Billingsley, former owner, the
tare sale should therefore be v6id and cancelled. Therefore, The Tax Claim , the Tax Ass+
meat Office and the Office of the Prothonotary are hereby directed to not their records
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Dane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Warden Reynolds, in accordance
with his suggestion, be granted permission to take care of the Courthouse and Jail Grounds, which
includes the caring of the shrubbier, lawn, etc., and the County to provide the necessary
adjourned.
