LANE, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS Airport Sinking Fund No. 1 - April 12, 1954 Airport Sinking Fund No. 2 - June 17, 1955' Airport Sinking Fund No. 3 - September 19, 1956 Notion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Vane, seconded by Mr. Mazza., that the following persons be as temporary field crew workers in the Tax Assessment Office, this action being retroactive to August 1, 1957. James C. Bane, Jr. John J. Salamone Ronald J. Pezzoni Clifton Morris Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the County Controller be authori to advertise for bids for the furnishing and delivering of Tax Assessment Supplies for the year 1958, to be used by the Washington County Tax Assessment Office; said bids to be received by the County Controller in his Office in the Courthouse, Washington, Pennsylvania, until 1.1:00 a.m., Daylight Saving Time, Friday, August 30, 1957, and opened immediately thereafterin the office of the County Commissioners. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Minute Nos. 131, 132, 133, 134, 135, 136, 137, 1374 138, 139, 140, 141, 142, 143, 144, 1453, 146, 147 and 148, were read and approved. Motion carried unanimously. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the adjourned. Octo4r 7, I1957 RUS Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., August 9, 1957 Board of County Commissioners in special session with the Greene County Board of Commissioners for the purpose of discussing highway improvements which are of vital interest to both counties. The following members of the Washington County Board of Commissioners were present: Francis E. Pettit, Chairman, William J. Lane and John Mazza, also representing ton County were Keery McAmbley, Administrative Assistant to the Washington County Redevelopment Authority, Jdarry B. Crumrine, Chief Engineer for Washington County and Frank J. Doektor, County Solicitor. The following members of the Greene County Board of Commissioners were present: A. R. Varner, Herman Gugliotta and John B. Carter, also representing Greene County were John Hook and Robert W. Thompson of the Planning Uommission. At this time, the following joint resolutions were adopted: 0 1 Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Gugliotta, that this joint group of and Greene County Commissioners go on record to petition the Pennsylvania Department of to improve and widen Traffic Route No. 88 from the Allegheny County Line to the West Virginia
