(Address) Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that all bids be tabled due to the fact that a quorum was not present and until the chief engineer makes a study and complete tabulation of all bids received and a recommendation is submitted to the Board. Motion by Mr. mane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that a refund voucher in the mount of $1.04 be made psoble to John R. Kletch, R. D, 1, Scenery Hill, Pennsylvania, due to a payment of 1956 occupation tax of Hosie Ulanosky. In 1956 Jahn R. Kletch bout this property, situate in North Bethlehem and described as frame house and barn, 110 Acres surface., Adjoining Swagler►- Van Voorhis, from Rosie Ulanosky as per tax adjustment number 1598. Mr. Kletch paid tax on Jute 191, 1956, in the amount of $32.92, which included occupation tax of Ride Ulanosky. LANE, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS paying tax in the amount of $32.92 which included occupation tax of Rosie Ulanosky, he had an over payment of $1..04. Therefore, the Tax Claim Bureau is authorized to prepare said refund voucher in the amount of $1.04 made payable to John R. Kletch, R, D. 1, Scenery Hill.. Pennsylva Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane,seconded by Mr. Mazza, that a refund voucher in the amount of $7.87 be made payable to Louis D. Samberg;, Fayette City, Pennsylvania, due to a payment of 1957 real estate tax. On July 2, 1957, the amount of $68.44 was paid on property assessed in the iume of Louis Samberg, situate in the Township of Mast Bethlehem and described as store room and flats, Lot 22, Main Street, Fredericktown. Tax adjustment number 4435 reduced assessment to 5000 and reduced tax to $60.57, making an over payment of $7.87. Therefore, the Tax Claim Bureau is authorized to prepare said refund voucher in the amount of $7.87 made payable to Louis Samberg, Fayette City, Pennsylvania. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that a refund voucher in the amount of $6.07 be made payable to Veterans Administration Regional Office, 107 Sixth Street, Pittsburg 22, Pennsylvania, due to a payment of 1957 real estate tax. On July 9, 1957, the amount of - $25.45 was paid on property assessed in the name of Parino A. & Philomena Mass, -situate in the ' Township of Cecil and described as 1 story frame, house, Lot 15 Rase Avenue, D. B. 920-540 Rose- wood Park Plan. Tax adjustment No. 3763 reduced total assessment to $1,600 and reduced tax to $20.40, thus making an over payment of S6.07. Therefore, the Tax Claim Bureau is authorized to prepare said refund voucher in the amount of $6.07 made payable to Veterans Administration Regional Office, 303.1 Fulton Building, 107 Sixth Street, Pittsburgh 22, Pennsylvania. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that an area of 68.288 acres adjacent to the boundary of the Washington County Airport in South Franklin Township be acquired from Sarah Clarke Kelly, et con, for the sum of $12,000.00 and which said area of 68.288 acres includes a parcel containing 12.41 acres which was condemned by resolution of Washington County Commissioners on April 22, 1954. This acquisition of 68.288 acres is in furtherance of the Airport Project under which one half of the cost of land acquisition is assumed by the Federal Goverment under the terms of the Grant Agreement entered into with Washington County. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Maazza, that an area 40 feet by 40 feet in South Franklin Township be acquired from C. R. Breese, et wx., to be used as a beacon site for the sum of $500.00 and that an additional sum of $1.00.00 be paid to C. R. Breese, st ux., for a 20 foot right of way from the boundax!t of the Airport Property to said 40 feet by 40 feet Plot. This acquisition of ground being in furtherance of the Airport Project and in accordance with the Grant Agreement entered between Washington County and the Federal. Government wherein the Federal Goverment has agreed to assume one half the cost of land acquisition. Motion carried unanimously.
