(5) Hereby authorized the Regional Planning Commission of Greater Washington, Washington County, Pennsylvania, to receive and expend Federal, State and other funds from priv h and public sources and to contract with the United States, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and other private and public agencies with respect thereto. There being no further business to come before°the Board at this time, the Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., January 13, �5T) Board of County Commissioners -in regular session, these present being Copmis- sioners Pettit and Mazza. Motion by Mr." Mazza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the following resolution of Board of County Commissioners of the County of Washington, State of Pennsylvania, relatives to the issue by the said County of a Note for Two Hundred Fifty Thousand ($250,000.00) Dollars as a temporary loan, was presented, duly seconded and adapted by the said Board, to -grit: "WEREAS, It has become necessary for said Board to borrow the sum of Two Hundr Fifty Thousand (250,000.00) Dollars for the purpose of meeting current expenses for the year 19 and to be payable out of taxes and other current revenues which have been assess axed have been levied and to be collected by the County during the year 1958; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of the said County of Washing ton, that for the purposes of providing funds for the payment of current expenses of the County, the proper officials of the said County are hereby authorized and directed to negotiate a tempo- rary loan on such terms as may be agreed upon by them, payable out of taxes which have been levied and to be collected during the year 1958, and so much of said taxes as may be necessary to repay said loan, with interest, is hereby set aside and designated for that purpose, and issue q) note therefore, payable Au st fit, 1958, with interest from date of said note at the rate of two and one fourth per ceht (2 per annum, free of all taxes levied by Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, which said taxes the County of Washington assumes and agrees to pay, said Note to be negotiated and issued as follows: PEOPLES FIRST NATIONAL BANK AND TRUST COMPANY, WASHIMTON, PA ....................... 250,000.00" Motion carried.
