Pettit and Mazza.
Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr, Pettit., that the WAShington County Tax Claim
Bureau is hereby authorized. to_ cancel the Treav~6 Tax Sale of April. 2s 1045j, for the 2009
School and 46ad Taxes, pl%ss sale coasts for the property assessed to Marry Johnston, described as
follows: *West Part Lot No. 275 C. 4 & I, C'o.., Canonsburg Third Ward, Washington County,
Pennsylvania." In as much ass, an exar natioan of the records shows that the above described pro-
perty is being used for a sttreet, as per notification received from the Tax Assessment Office.,
dated November 26s 1957, therefore., the said sale should be void and cancelled.
The Tax Clain Bureau, the Tax Assessment Office and the Office of the Proathonoataryl
are hereby directed to mark their records accordingly.

Motion by Mr. Y4zza,, seconded by Mr. Pettit., that Resolution Ne. 492 dated October
143, 1957 be rescinded for the following reason by request from the Washington County Tax Claim
Bureau: Action to be rescinded an this bid, due to the fact that the bid has been withdrawn
being that there is a D. P. A. Lien against the following described property, -(B) Vacant bats
F-H-1 J, in the Verner mantis Plan of Lots, situate in nth. Township, Washington County,
Pennsylvania, formerly owned by Fdward Willis, bidder being Alex Luckasevic.
Notion carried.
Motion by Mr. Mazza., ,seconded by Mr. Pettit, that a refund voucher in the amount
of $17.57 be made payable to Dortha Rainey, 203 Third Street, Bentleyville., Pennsylvania., due to
& occupation tax,
a duplicate payment of the 1957 real estate tax, /Qn July 13, 1.957, Dortha Rainey paid the amount
of $17.51 on pftperty assessed in, the
name of William C.,
Ethel M. & Dortha M.
Rainey situate in
Bentleyville Borough and described as
2 story frans3house,
Lots 50-51-52, A. B.

This same amoutt was paid on July $., 1957 by Dortha Rainey, thus creating a duplicate payment in
the amount of $17.57. therefore, the Tax Claim Bureau is authorized to prepare said refund .
voucher in the amount of $17.57 be made payable to Dortha Rainey, 203 Third Street., Bentleyville.,

of $30.29 be made payable to Mellen National Barak and Trust Co.., §ouWXhft Street$ Wasshingtens,
Pennsylvania, due to a duplicate payment of the 1957 County real estate tax. On July 23., 1957s,
11r. Paul lirkpastrick., paid the amount of $30.29 on property assessed in the name of Paul G.
Kirkpatrick and Vera M.., situate in East Finley Township and described as House and Barn, 60
surface ad3oining H. & W. Knex I)B 972-195. On July 29, 19573, the Mellen National Bank and Trust
Co., paid the amount of $30.29 on said property, thus causing a duplicate payment of 1957 county
Ireal estate tax. Therefore., thh Tax Claim Bureau., is authorized to prepare said refund voucher
