Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the County Controller be
authorized to exonerate the County Treasurer with the following delinquent tax 4monerations made
by the County Commissioners in the various Districts of Washington County for the year 1956,,

Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Commis-
sioners Pettit and Mazza.
Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that a refund voucher in the anoun
of $3.15.27, be made payable to Joseph and Helen Sarnowski, 736 Graham 4reet, Belle Vernon, Pa.
This refund to be made, due to the fact, that the Washington County Tax Claim Bureau Sale No.
218, in Carrell Township, was declared invalid at proceedings Ho. 507, August Term, 1955. This
tax sale has been invalidated by a County Commissioner's Minute No. *3560, dated June 4.* 1943.
The records had not been marked accordingly, at that time, and therefore, the Tax Claim Bureau,
again, sold the property to Helen and Joseph Sarnows&i. Distribution of the monies received
,had been distributed an Februaxy 28, 1951. Therefore, the County is requested to make a refund
to Joseph and Helen Sarnowski for the amount received from said distribution. This was in the
