Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being
Pettit, Lane and Mazza.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the following Resolution of the
Board of County Commissioners of the County of Washington, State of Pennsylvania, relative to
the issue by the said County of a Note for Seventy Five Thousand ($75,000.00) Dollars as a
temporary loan, was presented, duly seconded and adopted by the said Board, to..irit:
"WHEREAS, It has become necessarg for said Board to borrow the sum of Seventy Five
Thousand 375000.00) Dollars for the purpose of meeting current expenses for the year 1958, and
to be payable out of taxes and other current revenues which have been assessed and have been
levied and to be collected by the County during the year 1958; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of the said County of Washin
ton, that for the purpose of providing funds for the payment of current expenses of the County,
the proper officials of the said County are hereby authorized and directed to negotiate a tem-
porary loan on such terms as may be agreed upon by them, payable out of taxes as may be necessa
to repay said loan, with interest �++ is hereby set aside and designated for that purpose, and iss�
a note therefore, payable August 4, 1958, with interest from date of said mate at the rate of t
per cent (2%) per annum, free of all taxes levied by Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, which said
taxes the County of Washington assumes and agrees to pay, said Nate to be negotiated and issued
as follows:
PEOPLES FIRST NATIONAL BANK AND TRUST COMPANY, WASRINGTON, PA ...................... $75, 000.00
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the following Resolutions in
regards to the sale of properties for unpaid taxes by the Washington County Tax Clam Bureau,
be adopted:
