sioners Pettit, Cummins and Mazza.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that a refund, voucher in the mount
of $8.50 be made payable to William G. a d Theresa Miller., 911 Marne Avenue, Monongahela, Penn-
sylvania, due to a duplicate payment of occupation tax for the years 1954, 1955, 1956 and 1957.
Mr. and Mrs. Miller had been charged with occupation tax in the 3rd Ward of Monongahela, their
place of residence and also with occupation tax in the lst Ward of Monongahela where they own
property. When payment of taxes was mades Mr. & Mrs. Miller paid occupation in both wards, thus
casui.ng a duplicate payment of $8.50 for ever a period of four (4) years. Therefore, the Tax
Claim Bureau is authorized to prepare said refund voucher in the amount of $8,50 made payable
to Mr. & Mrs. William G. Miller, 911 Marne Avenue, Monongahela, Pennsylvania.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the County Commissioners
prepare "Notice to Bidders" and have same published for the receiving of sealed proposals for
Filing Cabinets and Microfilm Readers to be used in the Recorder of Deeds Office. Bids will be
received at the Office of the County Controller, Courthouse, Washington, Pennsylvania, until
1:30 P.M., Daylight Saving Time, Monday, June 30, 1958, and publicly opened in the Office of
the County Commissioners immediately thereafter.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the County Commissioners
prepare "Notice to Bidders" and have same published for the receiving of sealed proposals for
MicrofiUdng of Deed. Books in the Recorder of Deeds Office. Service to include microfilming,
jacketizing of the film and guiding supplies. Bids will be received at the Office of the County
Controller, Courthouse, Washington, Pennsylvania, until 1:30 P.M., Daylight Saving Time, Monday,
June 30, 1956, and publicly opened in the Office of the County Commissioners immediately there-
after.
Motion carried unanimously.
The Berard of County Commissioners having been advised that after a thorough
examination of the General Return Sheets and Talky Sheets of the Primary Election of 1958 for
the Office of General Assembly, which were made out by the Election Beard of the 3rd Precinct
of the Borough of Centerville, Second Legislative District, they could not reconcile vote as
given to.the Candidates for the General Assembly, the votes tabulated apparently being in.error;
therefore upon motion of Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, the Election Board is hereby author•
ized to instruct the Return Board to open said ballot box and ogaht the votes for the Office in
question and make any necessary corrections.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the resignation as submitted
by Paul J. Pettit, Chief Draftsman of the Tax Assessment Office, be accepted as of June 7* 1958,

plus the accrued vacation time due, his name to be deleted from the payroll effective the 16th
of Juane, 1958.
