refund voucher in the amount of $1.22, made payable to Mr. John and Rebecca M. Zapotosky, 327
Western Avenue, Houston, Pennsylvania.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr..Pettit, that George Bitsko, be appointed
as a temporary field crew worker in the Tax Assessment Office, this action to be effective July
1, 1958.
Motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the
adjourned.

Board of County Commissioners in special session for the purpose of opening bids
for the contracting of professional microfilming service and jacketizing of approximately 400
Deed Books from the Office of the Recorder of Deeds also for Filing Cabinets and Microfilm
Readers for the Office of the Recorder of Deeds. Those present at this meting being Commi.sa
Mazza, Controller Eiish, County Solicitor Docktor and the following company representatives:
John C. Corson and Clinton H. Hovis of Remington Rand,, C. Edwin Hultman and Jack J. Roman of
Securitext Inc., Samuel Freedman of Micro Photo Inc., and W. J. Price of Thermo Fax.
In accordance with the aforementioned advertisement, the following bids were
opened and read for the microfilming service and jacketizing of approximately 400 DeedBooks.

1. Remington Rand, 312 Staneix Street, Pittsburgh 22, Pennsylvania
Amount of Bid $.032 per page
Certified Check in the amount of $768,00 accompained bid.

Amount of Bid $.038 per page ($38.00 per thousand pages.)

3. Securitext, Inc., Hultman Bldg., 92 Noble Avenue, Pittsburgh 5, Pa.

The amount of $.0475 includes the furnishing of three (3) viewers,
14" x l4n screens, with a 17X magnifications also furnishing of
steel cabinets which will contain humidity control guides for the
most adequate keeping of arq microfilm.
