PET , .ZZA, COMMISSIONERS Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the Tax Clam Bureau be author- ized to prepare a refund voucher in the amount of $7.06,.to be made payable to Burleigh & Katheri H. Wright, c/o Ewing B. Pollock, Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. Due to an oversight, Mr, & Mrs. Wrigh have been assessed with occupation tax as though they were residents of this county whereas they have been residents of Greene County. They have erroneously paid the county occupation tax as follows: 195542.09 paid on October 13, 1955, delinquent receipt no. 2750 195642.42 paid on October 22, 1956, delinquent receipt no. 2297 195742.55 paid on August 30, 1957, receipt no. 35795 This makes a total amount to be refunded of $7.06 due to their paying occupation tax and at the same time being residents of Greene County, the Tax Claim Bureau is authorized to prepare said refund voucher in the amount of $7.06 made payable to Burleigh & Katherine H. Wright, c/o Ewing B. Pollock, Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. Motion carried. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting adjourned. Docktor. and read: In accordance with the aforementioned advertisement the following bids were opened', 1. Cole-Layer-Trumble Co. Total Amount of - bid being: $400,000.00 Bid bond placed with: Continental Casualty Company Amount being: $4 ,000.00 2. George L. Lenk & John H. Spicer Total Amount of bid being: $395,000.00 Bid bond placed with: American Casualty Company of Reading, Penn:, Amount being: $39.1500.00 3. Western Pennsylvania Research Associates, Inc., 3015 Grant Bldg., Pittsburgh 19, Pennsylvania Total Amount of bid being: $302,5o0.00 Bid bond placed with: Continental Casualty Company Amount being: $30,250.00 Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the bids be tabled for research and study and bids to be awarded August 29, 1958 at 1:30 P.M. Motion carried unanimously.
