areas that are undesirable and will be adopting subdivision controls and zoning to protect pro-
perty values and preserve desirable industrial land, the County of Washington has agreed to par-
ticipate in this Regional Planning Commission as provided by the Regional Planning Law of Penn-
sylvania and is making available to the Regional Planning Commission of Greater Washington
approximately one-half the time of the services of the present staff of the Washington County
Redevelopment Authority.
WHEREAS, the Housing and Home Finance Agency which administers Regional Planning
Applications for Federal Matching Funds requires that non-federal contributed services be made
in cash, the Regional Planning Commission of Greater Washington requests the County Commission
to contribute Five Thousand Six Hundred and Seventy ($5,670.00) Dollars to cover staff services
and traveling expenses necessary to the functioning of the Regional Planning Commission of
Greater Washington from April 11., 1958 to April 10, 1959.
THEREFORE, the County Commissioners agree to contribute in cash $5,670.00 to the
Regional Planning Commission of Greater Washington in two installments of 2,835.00 each. The
first installment to be paid in September, 1959, and the second installment to be paid on
February 11, 1960.
IT IS FURTHER UMERSTOOD AND AGREED that the Regional Planning Commission of
Greater Washington will reimburse the County for the staff time and travel expenses of the Wash-
ington County Redevelopment Authority, which the Regional Planning Program requires, and that the
Program will not exceed fifty (50%) per cent, of the staff time of the Redevelopment Authority.
Reimbursement payments to the County will be made on the Wednesday following the regular meeting
of the Commission on the second Tuesday of each month, and it is further provided that, in any
event, the Regional Planning Commission will completely reimburse Washington County for any
expenditures or advances made by Washington County as herein set forth.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the Washington County Commis-
sioners approve Change Order No. 3, Administration Building Contract, in the total amount of
$542.00 at the Washington County Airport.
Motion carried unanimously.
