public advertisement as hereinafter provided, payable semi-annually from the date thereof on the
first day of the months of May and November in each year.
Said bonds shall also provide that -the County of Washington will pay or refund any tax
(except gift, succession or inheritance tax) legally levied or assessed upon said bonds or upon
the debt secured thereby under any present or future law of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
SECTION 3, The County Controller is hereby directed to offer the said bonds for sale
by advertisement in the manner required by law., to bear interest at the best rate bid in a molt;
of one eighth of one percent, bids to be opened at the meeting of the Board of County Commissio:
to be held on the 3rd day of December., 1958, and the County Solicitor is hereby directed to pre.
the necessary proceedings and to retain the law firm of Burgwin, Ruffin, Perry & Pohl of Pittsb-
Pennsylvania, to examine the proceedings and issue an approving legal opinion to the successful
bidder.
SECTION 4. All resolutions or parts of resolutions not in accord with this resolution
are hereby repealed insofar as they conflict herewith.
PASSED this 15th day of October., 1958.
Motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time., the meeting
adjourned.
