Hickson, 17 East reeling Street, Washington, Pennsylvania, be given the order for the furnishing and delivering of One (1) Document Filing Cabinet for use in the Clerk of Courts Office", for the total amount of $264.99, this being the lowest quotation received. Motion carried. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting adjourned. THE FOREGOING MINM RFAD AND APPROVED: December 3 195,• NO. 266 Office of the County Coassioners Washington, Pa., December 151,1958 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Commissioners Pettit, Cummins, Mazza, Controller Elish, Deputy Controller Marino, Solicitors for the Controller's Office, Hirsch and Finder, and County Solicitor Docktor. The County Controllers Office at this time raised a question on the payment of the Jeep which was purchased on November 25, 1958 in the amount of $2,450.00. The 0ontroller quoted the Act on the purchasing of equipment and after some discussion the Controller made the state- ment that, if the jeep was purchased due to an emergency, such as the threat of snow, that it would conform with the Act or being that the Solicitors of the Controller's Office and the County Solicitor have given different opinions on the validity of the purchase it would be a matter for the Courts to decide therefore, upon a motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr.` Pettit, that minute , ,
