Pettit, Cummins and Mazza.
Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that authorization be given to the
Purchasing Agent's Office for the purchase of two (2)IEN 20e 632 Electronic Typing Calculator,
Prestige Elite Type, Special Spacing and two (2) Check Chute Attachments; machine to be used for
computing -County Treasurer's tax cards and Tax Assessment duplicates, total purchase price of
machinery being $11,.400#00. Deliverer date to be confirmed by the. Chief Assessor of the Tax
Assessment Office, Mr. E. M. Lheureau, Jr.
Motion carried unanimously.
There being no futher business to come before the ward at this time, the meeting
adjourned.

employee of the Registration Office, this action to be retroactive to February 1, 1959.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Pettit, seconded by Mr. Cumsi.ns, that Janet Dorchak be appointed as a
temporary clerk in the Tax Assessment Office replacing Mary Leichty vho is on a leave of absence,
this action to be effective February 16, 1959.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Cumanins, that the County Controller be authorized
to exonerate the County Treasss.rer Frith the following delinquent tax exonerations made by the
County Commissioners in the various Districts of Washington County for the year of 1957.

Motion by Mr. CunImins., seconded by Mr. Mazza., that a refund voucher in the azpaunt of
payable
$15.74, be madoto George E. and Phylis McClure, R.D. 1, Venetia, Pennsylvania, due to taxes
paid in error. On July 31, 1958, Mr. McClure paid taxer in the amount of $56.94 on property
assessed in the name of Kathryn N. and Clyde J. McClure and Ruth I. and Benjamin B. McClure
instead of his own 1958 County Tax in the amount of $4.20 on property assessed in Peters Town-
ship, Washington County, described as brick unr. house, lot 8, making a refund due of $15#74,
Therefore, the Tax Claim Bureau is authorized to prepare said refund voucher in the amount of
$15.74 payable to George E. and Phylis McClure, R. D. 1, VerAtia, Pennsylvania
