Motion carried unanimously,
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that a refund voucher in the amount ®f
$15.45 be wade payable to Jones and Laughlin Corporation, Third and Boss Streets, Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania, due to duplicate payment on Lot 167 and a It moot single house, Vestaburrg in Center-
ville Borough, Washington County, Pennsylvania. Reason for this duplicate payment being that the
house and lot added to the records in 1958 by adjustment in Ow terville Borough was in error.
Jones and Laughlin Corporation are actually assessed with Lot 167 and a 4 roam single house in
Bast Bethlehem -Township, thus creating a duplicate assessment and causing a duplicate paywant of
1958 County Tax. Therefore, the Tax Claim Bureau is authorized to prepare said refund voucher
in the amount of $1.5.45 payable to Jones and Laughlin Corporation, Third and Ross Streets, Pitts-
burgh, Pennsylvania.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Cumni.ns, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that a refund voucher in the amount„ f
$2.47 be made payable to Alexander R. Curran, 829 Duncan Avenue, Washington, Pennsyl , due
to duplicate pArnut of 1957 Occupation Tax. On August 299 1957, Mr. Curran paid his 1957
Tax on property situate in the 7th Ward of Washington described as 6 room frame house, easterly
part of lot 6, DB 945437 Duncan Avenue, Washington, Pennsylvania, and occupation listed as
attorney $200.00, total of tax paid being $29.68. On sama date, Mr, Curran also paid taxes on
property assessed in the 1st Ward of Washington which also included $200.00 tion as ai►tvr%0T-
Due to this duplicate assessment of his occupation the total amount of $2.47 was over paid tints
causing a refund. of $2.47 due to Mr. Curran. Therefore, the Tax Claim Bureau is authorized to
prepare said refund voucher in the amount of $2.47, payable, to Alexander R. Curranv 829 Duman
Avenue, Washington, Pennsylvania.
Motion carried unanimously.

Motion by Mr. Cummins., seconded by Mr. Pettit, that David J. Laurenco, Re D. 1, Coal
Conter, Pennoylumia., be appointed as assessor of rest Pike Run Temnship., to fill the vacancy
created by the resignation of John Chernay.
Motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting
adjourned.
